Yeah, it’s not a huge deal on its own, almost of the women I’ve talked to in person (here in Brazil) had their ears pierced as infants, and didn’t really have a huge issue with it. My sister is one of the only exceptions I know about, my mom had her ears pierced as a baby and she cried so much that the piercings ended up lopsided and she had to redo them when she was older. So she waited until my sister was a bit older so she could hold still.

The only thing that I really care about is making sure that we’re acting on purpose, and not just imitating to imitate.
