The thing is that Korean is so hard to pronounce!

Phonetically it is one of the hardest languages — at least for me. There are so many subtle sounds, especially with the notion of double consonants, it’s so hard!

But the writing is so systematic that it’s easy to approach, and it really can be learned in a few afternoons, with a few more to get the hang of the memorization and really internalize it. I think a lot of that is owed to how deliberately it was developed.
