Media, in general, is one of the best ways to supplement language learning. You made a great point in showing how it is something that doesn’t replace actively studying though, it’s necessary to look for the meanings and the stories behind some phrases to get the full picture.

It’s — very — important to try and make those phrases that you learn this way into active phrases by using them, whether in conversations or on social media!

It’s a good way to learn a language the way native speakers hear it spoken!
